I’ve missed my blog so much!! I feel like I haven’t written a blog post in forever and I’m so glad I’m back. From finals to an endless stream of guests staying over at my house, I just didn’t have any time to sit down and focus on writing about what I love most.
Today, I wanted to talk about the people that inspire my wardrobe, whether it’s different fashion bloggers, celebrities, or even just a friend or family member. I always love to evolve my wardrobe and style to what I think best suits me, and these people play a role in helping me effectively do that.
I’m always curious on what inspires other people’s style/wardrobe choices as well, so feel free to tell me what/who inspires you in the comments 🙂
1. Dina Tokio
Dina Tokio is the person who basically taught me how to style my outfits and make them actually look nice. Even though I don’t dress as modest as she does, she really helped me define my style with the oversized jumpers, blazers, and boyfriend jeans.
I still watch her YouTube videos and avidly follow her on Instagram, her videos with her husband, Sid are really entertaining and fun to watch 🙂
2. Ashley Brooke
Ashley Brooke is my ultimate street style inspiration! I love the way she puts her outfits together because they are comfortable and stylish at the same time. I also love how she wears clothes that are in the more affordable range from H&M and Zara, and that she’s an American blogger. Even though I love Dina and a ton of other British bloggers, I have trouble connecting with them and getting access to the places they get their clothes from.
Ashley Brooke’s lookbooks on YouTube are crazy #stylegoals!!
3. Breath of Fresh Pair
I am so obsessed by these two! I love their style choices so much! I recently found these best friends while scrolling through my Instagram feed and I’m in love! I feel like I can really relate to them because we share the same ethnicity, and I just love how they dress even though most of their outfits are way out of my price range.
I can stare at their Instagram pictures for hours 😀
4. In the Frow
Victoria is literally my role model when it comes to fashion! Even though her outfits and accessories are way beyond my budget, I still find a lot of inspiration from how she puts herself together. I try my best to figure out ways on how I can get her look for less!
These are my top four style inspirations. I have a lot more like Chiara Ferragni, Kristina Bazan, Amelia Liana, Lydia Elsie Millen, and Ascia AKF, but I narrowed the list down because I think the bloggers in my list actually helped me evolve my style. Most of the others I just watch for fun.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I just wanted to let everyone know that I would really love to do collaborations with everyone and make fun posts for the rest of this month! If you are interested in doing a collaboration with me, you can send me a message on Instagram or send me an email (randomthoughtsbyhaya@gmail.com)
Thanks! Looking forward to future collabs 🙂
