Hey guys! I know summer hasn’t even started for most of us, but here I am making a post about what’s going to be trending next fall/winter! I feel like this year there wasn’t a really big gap between the fashion weeks for spring/summer and the fall/winter fashion.
Here are the top trends I saw from the Fall 2018 Ready to Wear fashion weeks:
1. Turtlenecks/Polo Necks
This is one trend I saw from a lot of brands. Layering short sleeve tops or tops with deep necks with turtlenecks/polo necks looks so chic in my opinion. I love how it brings sophistication to an outfit. I also love layering turtleneck tops with strapless/spaghetti strap dresses. Overall, I think this is one of the major trends we will be seeing next fall!
2. Puffy Jackets
Puffy jackets have already been seen a lot this fall/winter season. It was also seen a lot by almost every brand during the showcasing of these collections. I love the aesthetic of puffy jackets paired with a more sophisticated outfit underneath. They also actually keep you warm in the winter and are very comfortable to wear 😀 .
3. Check Print
I’ve recently talked about my love for this trend in a “my favorite things” post, and I can’t tell you how much I love this check print! It’s so chic and trendy and I saw it everywhere while looking at all the Fall 2018 Ready to Wear Collections. I can’t wait to see how different people end up styling it next fall.
4. Dresses/Skirts
Last but not least, dresses and skirts were another major trend I saw for fall 2018. I personally am not really used to wearing dresses and skirts during the winter time because it gets so cold and I don’t like to freeze lol. This is probably going to change by next fall as we are going to see more an more girls wearing dresses/skirts during the winter season. Although I’m looking forward to seeing this, I don’t think I would want to join that bandwagon!
Some other trends I noticed were the use of shoulder pads and bright colors! That’s it for the major trends I saw for the Fall 2018 Ready to Wear collections. I hope you enjoyed 🙂

I’ve never really liked wearing turtlenecks because I’m so sensitive even scarves feel like they are suffocating me! I love wearing dresses and skirts in winter – just make sure to pair them with thick and/or thermal tights or tights with knee-high socks over the top to keep you warm. xx

I used to hate wearing turtlenecks too until I got a really comfy one from H&M 😊 you’re right I need some thermal tights!

I always thought that fashion shows are over exaggerated, but we need see them as an inspiration and to take the parts that represent us. Great post💕😍

Thank you! I used to think that too until I saw The Devil Wears Prada. It really opened my mind and showed me that even if we don’t follow fashion, somehow these fashion show looks still get to us

Turtle neck is my go to for cold weather, because I don’t like wearing scarfs, but I want to be warm and cozy haha. xx

I am really looking forward to summer and just taking away all my layers and coats. But seeing this has given me fashion inspiration. I love these looks and at least I have style to look forward to when the summer ends. Lovely post!

Thanks for sharing this post! I love looking at the different styles! These are very nice but I just can’t do a turtleneck because I feel suffocated. Lol but great selection you have here, Haya.
