Another month, another favorite things post! I’m taking a little break from my European vacation blog posts to catch up with my monthly posts, and make some blog posts about New York Fashion Week 🙂
I don’t know why this always happens, but I keep falling in love with luxury items. Then I end up spending many many months trying to find dupes for the things I love. Unfortunately, this is going to be another one of those months. I just can’t help it, the luxury fashion brands are coming out with such amazing things!
1. Hermes Oran Sandals
I love these sandals! At around $600, I can’t even begin to think about buying these for myself. I found some nice dupes on Shein for about $30 so I might get those. The design for these sandals are plain and very clean cut, and because of that, they give off a very put together look. I’ve seen so many bloggers style them amazingly which is one reason they caught my eye!
2. Celine Sunglasses
I’m crazy about this style of sunglasses! I actually first fell in love with this style when I was at Selfridges, and I tried on a similar style of sunglasses by Chanel. I instantly fell in love with them, I thought they fit with my face shape perfectly. Ever since then, I’m trying to find a good dupe of this style. For me, $425 is not practical to spend on sunglasses.
3. Modern Renaissance
I’ve read a lot of blog posts about this palette, and a lot of my friends have it and still can’t get enough of it! I’ve only heard and read positive reviews about this palette so I’m really interested in getting it. I think it’s a very versatile palette that can be used for everyday looks and also for a night in town. I’m trying to get my sister to split it with me but she isn’t agreeing.
3. Burberry Touch for Women
Last but not least, Burberry Touch for Women! I was at Nordstrom Rack with my mom and came upon this fragrance by accident. I instantly fell in love with the smell, and now it’s on my wishlist! I’m currently saving up for it, it’s $50 at Nordstrom Rack which I think is a pretty good price for a full sized Burberry perfume.
That’s all I have for my favorite things this month. I hope you enjoyed!

These are some lovely items! However I don’t understand how retailers can feel justified in charging what they do for their items. Like my goodness I get they’re higher end and all but still. xoxo

Thank you! I agree these prices are outrageous! $600 for some sandals and $425 for sunglasses is way too much. If I had the money, I would use the $1,000 to buy some diamonds or something 😄

Beautiful things 😊 I might change my mind in different circumstances but I think that even if I were rich, I would be too cheap to pay $600 for a pair of shoes, no matter how lovely they are. I’m glad you found something similar for such an affordable price. They look as cute as the original pair ❤️

Thank you! I agree with you, I think it’s almost impossible to justify spending $600 on plain sandals that just have an H shape on them. I hope more affordable brands like H&M will come out with some dupes for these soon as well 😊

I think I have expensive tastes too window shopping. Love those sandals and sunglasses. But at over $1,000 for the two I don’t think so.

The majority of gamers don’t have an issue with understanding the game they just disregard the holes in their sport. Many casinos provide poker but only some casinos offer the opportunity to play for high stakes.
