Bonjour Paris! One day in the City of Love

Paris! The city of dreams and romance…

I have seen countless movies and read countless books about Paris, it truly is a dream! I couldn’t even believe that I got a chance to visit such an incredible place!

Here’s the story of how I got to Paris and what I did with one day in such a city.

While in London, my family and I decided to rent a car for two weeks to go on a European road trip! We drove an hour to Dover and took the ferry to Dunkirk.

We drove another three hours and arrived in Paris just in time to see the city at night. It was so beautiful! I had no idea the Eiffel Tower sparkled every night at 12 am.

Notre Dame

Our first stop in the morning was Versailles! It was extremely beautiful. I would rate it as the best palace I’ve seen in Europe. It was incredibly hot in Paris, and on top of that, we had to stand outside in a three-hour line just to get inside.

After that, we went around exploring all of the major tourist attractions in Paris: Notre Dame, The Louvre, Sacre-Couer, and Champs Elysee.

One of the hardest parts about Paris was the driving. We were extremely terrified of the drivers in Paris, they follow no rules!

Since we had only spent one day in Paris, we only got to see the major sites and tourist attractions that were there. If you guys have any suggestions on what I should see next time I visit, please tell me in the comments 🙂
