New York Fashion Week 2017

Hi again! I know it’s been a week since my last post, but I was really busy with school stuff!

This whole week, my social media has been filled with stuff from this year’s New York Fashion Week, that’s why I wanted to do a post about all the different trends showed up during the fashion shows. I also just wanted to share the different designers I loved watching at this fashion week.

Trends:

Fun/Flowy Sleeves and Turtlenecks

I have been following this trend for some time now (I recently bought shirts with this style from Zara). I really love this look because I think it gives off a very stylish vibe, and it’s very fun to wear! It also makes me feel very girly.

Graphic Tees

I don’t really own any nice graphic tees, but after seeing them on the runway, I desperately want some! I love graphic tees because they can be styled in many different ways and you can wear them in many different occasions. They are a must have for anyone’s closet!

Culottes/Skirts

I also don’t have a lot of culottes or skirt in my closet, but I saw them everywhere during this fashion week. They were also very visible during the Spring Ready to Wear 2017 fashion show. I really love the flowy look of both items, and both of items also give off very stylish looks. I can’t wait to add them to my closet!

Faux Fur/Pops of Color

Another trend that was very present was faux fur/colorful blazers. Even though faux fur blazers have been popular for a couple of years now, I loved how these designers styled the blazers with different elements. I also liked how they added pops of color to their outfits using colorful blazers.

Gowns (in general)

This is not really a trend, I just wanted to include these beautiful gowns by Marchesa and Badgley Mischka. I just had to share them because they are exquisite.
